New Ticket Designs
In order to obtain better visitor statistics and more efficient ticket reading, tickets will be prepared with new designs featuring eight of Macao’s World Heritage Sites, e.g. the A Ma Temple, St. Paul’s Ruins, the Lighthouse, etc. with a view to highlighting the key concepts of the conservation of culture and nature, as well as enriching the formats of tickets as collectibles. To echo our support for environmental protection, the tickets will be made from recycled paper. Tickets will also bear a QR code to facilitate the real-time ticket reading and visitor statistics.
As the giant panda is well received as the world’s friendship and conservation ambassador, the IACM looks to further associate the animal with Macao’s World Heritage Sites that have not been featured in the ticket designs. It is hoped that new designs will help promote Macao’s tourist sites, as well as enliven the giant panda’s amicable image, as if the friendship ambassador were visiting Macao’s World Heritage Sites.
